Jeffrey Bryson, Esq.
Jeffrey Bryson is a former Executive Vice-President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary for Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation dba NeighborWorks America. Prior to his retirement in September 2018, he had been employed with NeighborWorks America since 1987. During the last eleven months of his employment, he served at the Interim President and Chief Executive Officer. NeighborWorks America is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization, chartered by the Congress of the United States in 1978, to promote development in distressed communities throughout the United States with annual revenues exceeding $250 million. The board of directors is comprised of the heads of the Federal, financial regulatory agencies (Federal Reserve Board, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Comptroller of the Currency, National Credit Union Administration and the Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development) appointed by the President of the United States and confirmed by the United States Senate.
Bryson holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1978) and a juris doctor of law from the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University in Washington, D.C. (1981).
Bryson was initiated into the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated in the fall of 1975 in the Psi Delta chapter at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is married with one son and lives in Bowie, MD.
