Kerry D. Wilson
Kerry D. Wilson serves as a Program Manager for the U.S. Government. He comes to the position with over 28 years of experience in Systems Acquisition and Engineering experience in Aviation Mission Planning Software and C4I System Development. He supported program acquisition and engineering efforts on programs ranging from Aviation Mission planning to Submarine Communications through all phases for their life cycle.
As Program Manager, Wilson has been responsible for managing a budget over $250M, and a team of 45 contractors and 10 government representatives from different government agencies. He coordinates communications with external stakeholders such as the airlines, aircraft manufacturers, the DoD, and civil aviation authorities including the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB). Prior to this position, he worked as the Integrated Product Team (IPT) and Chief Systems Engineer for various Department of Defense programs.
Wilson earned his B.S. from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in Mechanical Engineering (1985) and his M.S. from the University of Maryland University Collage in Technology Management (1997). He is a graduate of the Defense Systems Management College in Advanced Acquisition Program Management (1995) and also is a Senior Executive Management Development Program (SEMDP) Graduate.
Wilson has been married to his wife Kimberly since 1992 and they have two kids, daughter Kara age 19 and son Kerry II age 16.
